MARKET ANALYSIS
Tejar is the fastest growing area of Cartago. Lying in the beautiful south side of the east central valley, Tejar has been attracting numerous new residents over the past decade. Tejar is one of the first Cartago towns to provide housing for upper middle and upper class families. People were drawn to Tejar primarily by the location, climate and economy in this very scenic area of the country. This area continues to grow rapidly, attracting both new permanent Cartago residents, foreign retirees, as well as serving as a hub for summer homes for foreign immigrants and baby boomers looking for a more desirable and affordable living environment. This is clearly evidenced by the new communities that are also springing up over the rest of Costa Rica now.
